The D-Day landing beaches

Visit the museums and see the beaches where it all happened over 50 years ago. Also St Mère Eglise with the effigy of the parachutist still suspended from the church tower.
Bayeux and the Tapestry

The lovely old town of Bayeux and the famous Bayeux Tapestry,over 200 fett long, which describes, in embroidered images, the Norman invasion of England.
Le Mont Saint Michel

A spritual experience in a magical setting. The architecture reflects medieval society - the town at the lower levels up to the Gothic abbey at the summet.
La Cité de la Mer

La Cité de la Mer, a vast scientific, historic and recreational complex takes you through a sensational experience of an underwater adventure. The submarine 'Le Redoutable' is housed in a made to measure dry dock and is a visit not to be missed.
Château de Fontaine-Henri

The Château de Fontaine-Henri is a fully furnished château of the renaissance period. It was built on the old site of the XI century fortress which sheltered Henry IV after the battle of the 5th June 1595.
Les Roches de Ham

A vine view point over the river and a great place to sample the local cider and galettes while sitting out on the terrace overlooking the valley
Les Gorges de la Vire

Take a leisurely drive through this very picturesque gorge or be adventurous and go on foot to appreciate the views and ever changing seasonal colours. You can even experience the sensation of bungy jumping from the Souleuvre viaduct.
